Dear Quattrophiles-

I would I am trying to determine if the rear of my 86 4kcsq is sagging. 
I will be replacing the struts in the rear soon, and I am trying to
figure out if new springs are in order.  With 195/60-14 on stock rims (and
springs), the height from the ground to the top of the rear wheel arches is
23 1/8" both sides.  The fronts are more like 24 1/8".  

I would appreciate any comments and insite.  I believe that new strut
inserts will probably raise the rear of the car a bit, but I am looking
to see if I am in the ball park.

I know many people replace their springs with new struts, but I get the
impression it is in search of better handling/looks.
