The only bit of early 90s Audi safety questions in the US known to me was
the fact that in 94 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A GOVERNMENT CRASH TEST a vehicle
scored ***** out of ***** possible for both a driver and a passenger. That
was an Audi A6! ovloV came SECOND! (***** for a driver and **** for a
passenger).
A side note: the guy who bought my '85 5000s, has T-boned a vintage (70sh)
Crysler Korova (Alex, are you reading?;-). Poor old lady ran a red light.
The rust bucket did 180° and cracked in half. The 5000 received a hood, a
grill, one fender and the headlights and runs like new. The guy prays the
Lord that he was in the Audi, not in his wife's Pontiac.
