Just spoke to Frank at Four Star again. He says it'll be about 20% 
stiffer. So more like "noticeably stiffer", instead of "very stiff"

Frank says my coupe has shocks that are 35mm lower than the regular 90; 
obviously he's aware of this.
He also says changing just the springs without switching the stock shocks 
will result in a lousy ride.
