I'll give it a try.  Should I disconnect the FT switch harness, let the
engine idle and then check the codes...or drive it around for a bit and then
check the codes...or what?

Not even close to overheating; engine runs at ~1/2 way mark on gauge all of
the time. Had a bad thermostat prior to changing (stuck open).  Could the
computer, however, have "learned" that the normal operating temp was lower
than it should be??  (longshot)

I really appreciate your help!  I'll let you know what happens w/ the FT
switch off line.  Additionally, I'll post to the list the problem and
solution *when* I solve this...
