Say what?!? Harley couldn't compete simply because they built an inferior
product. Buyers wanted machines that didn't leak, wouldn't break down on
the road, and wouldn't need repairing every other weekend. So, they bought
Japanese. Harley got the tariffs imposed while they developed a new engine
and got there quality control together. Afterwards, things began to turn
around.

dedicated following of >repeat customers around the world.

And once again, Harley is attempting to get the gov't on its side by trying
to patent the *sound* of its engine.

Don't mean to sound like a flame...I just don't like the way HD does business.
