Hi NE/NY Q-listers et al:

 According to what I've received for feedback, these look like the best   
prospective dates:

 October  13   some leafers around
     still pretty for us
    warmer, maybe
    Cabin on Pine River Pond Available....
    for cookout and a beer or two
    gorgeous colors at the lake....
    most can make       
 October  20 less leafers
    not as pretty for us
    Cabin availability questionable
    most can make

 November  3 no leafers
    no leaves for us either
    Cabin may have no water available
    most can make

Let's pick a date soon............
