Hershey Antique Auto Show

        I just wanted to let you all know that the Hershey Antique Auto
Show will be taking place next week starting Tuesday or Wednesday and going
until Sunday. It will be held on the grounds of Hershey Park in Hershey, PA
and is THE BIGGEST Antique Auto Show on the East Coast and perhaps the USA.

        While the VW and Audi representation is usually aircooled VeeDubs
at best there is still tons to see. In past shows I've seen plenty of 356
Porsches, gullwing benzes, a one off multimillion dollar 30s Benz Roadster,
etc etc etc. There is literally any old car you can think of
there...practically. Also there is a huge corral with people selling new
and used parts, and automobilia. Two years ago I bought a dealer catalogue
of my then current car (87 Scirocco 16V), the press booklet for the 85 Golf
release with accompanying factory photos, and the HO scale german made
Herpa cars as well. If you live anywhere close to this and are a car lover,
it's a must see. There is also a car corral with MANY older cars for sale.
It wouldn't surprise me to see a Corrado, Quattro Coupe, or the like among
the forsale cars.
        To the CCA...I will be attending Friday and will most likely be in
the Corrado so if anyone is interested in meeting up somewhere, let me
know.
        Also, if you like to take pictures there is plenty of subject
matter. One last thing, if it rains, the swapmeet area will turn to mush so
wear boots or shitty shoes.
