Hi,
I have a 87 4000csq with a 137k miles on it. My question concerns the
front suspension. The car is relativly stable until I take my foot off
the accelerator pedal at 78mph, at that point the car shudders
voilently. The same does not happen for speed less then or greater
then the speed specified. I put new tires and shocks on the front end
4 months ago and was told that my suspension bushing might need to be
replaced. Can someone explain to me what exactly these bushings are, I
am not sure I understand the mechanics behind it.
Also, my odometer just stopped at 137k. Do I have any options as to
fixing it?
Thanks
