RE: Seat heaters under leather...

I checked the archives for seat heater element repairs. There is reference to
unclipping retainers onder the seat. It appears that may apply for cloth
seats. The lower edge of the leather cover has a wire sewn into it, making it
impossible to slip it off the bottom of the seat.

Does anyone know how to remove the leather seat (barcoloungers) cover to gain
access to the element?

I face the same problem! 5000TQ w/leather and no driver's seat heat. I started to try to get at the heater element, but it looks like you have to cut the stitching in front down low and peel back the leather to expose the elements and the sensor. I gave up. Do you have to cut the seat stitching to get access?
