Robin, I'm in the middle of researching this one myself. So far I've ridden
in a Joe Hoppen modified S4 which I found extremely harsh, but totally
controlled. I've also talked to Ned Ritchie who has a kit, and heard good
things about Eric Fletcher's suspensions, but haven't experienced either.
Both Ned & Eric claim their suspensions retain compliance while improving
control. I'd suggest going to one or more Audi meets and trying to get
ride/drives before making any decisions. IMO it's really critical to match
the springs and shock rates rather than cherry-pick parts from catalogs.
FYI, Joe Hoppen reached at Hoppen Motorsports in Florida, Tel(941) 924-6380
and FAX (941) 924-6980, Ned Ritchie at Intended Acceleration Tel(360)
754-1411 and FAX (360) 956-9540, Eric Fletcher at STEADIRIC@aol.com.
I'll be upgrading my suspension over the winter, will keep you posted.
