RE: A4 1.8T 'upgrades' and warranty



Note that this is in New Zealand. I doubt you'll ever see those
modifications offered through the majority of Audi dealers here in the
US. On the other hand, it's federal law that modifications don't void
your warranty automatically. The dealer/manufacturer has to prove that
the modification explicitly caused a failure of a covered part to get
out from the warranty obligation.
