... I haven't had the dynamic pressure system fail on any of my cars yet
[knock on zebrano], but I did check the Bentley for the 4k on this in
response to someone's problem report. It does sound like the dynamic
system is prone to problems. The 4k Bentley shows that the relay only
deals with the high pressure switch and the tach input ... the low
pressure system works just like normal cars :). If I ever do get a
failure of the high pressure system I will simply remove the relay;
disabling the HP system, but leaving me a normal idiot light. I would
then find some way to work a real oil pressure gauge into the dash ...
