Radio Fix - 87 and earlier

I've seen several radios with the same problem...so I guess it's common.
There is a fuse hidden in the back of the radio which blows for no apparent
reason other than old age.  I say it's hidden because it's existence isn't
shown in Bentley or even in the little radio booklet provided with the car
when new.
Anyway, this radio is the standard one I've seen in the 87 and earlier
5000's and 4000's.
  I don't know all the cars and years it was found in.  
The radio just says AUDI on it, but when pulled you'll see a Blaupunkt label. 
There is a little black plastic cap covering the fuse on the back of the radio.
I found replacement fuses at Radio Shack.
