I would look for corrosion or loose connection on feed line from battery to starter. 
Starter to jump wire post, and main feed to engine compartment and dashboard.
Main grounds also suspect.
Large conductor wire  with  large alligator clips can be carefully used to bypass 
suspect sections methodically.
