I agree Dan. IMHO, I prefer this method over locking a F/R
differential. I believe more control is maintained under *most*
situations, and especially when driving around a bend in the rain.
Slip is monitored and eliminated at every wheel. I'd rather
not drag a wheel around a corner on the pavement, even if it's
a rear wheel.

Dan, I had this opportunity last winter. I was impressed with
the performance of EDL. Even with the RS-A's, it did not take
much to get me out of my unplowed Boston driveway nor off a few
snow drifts. The "ABS chatter" was a little disconcerting at
first, but it goes on for a very short time, a fraction of a
second here and there. I don't believe that brake wear will be
a problem.
And after 10 months of ownership, brake wear appears normal.
I usually inspect my brakes during the weekly ritual of
"removal of the brake dust." :-)
