'91 qt Noisy rear shock

I recently installed Boge shocks and H&R springs in this 185K Mi. car.
Before and after work was done there was a "clunk" from the right rear
wheel area. I then replaced the outboard transverse link bearing/bushing
on the right rear. It was bad. Some of the "clunk" was due to that
bearing (from Linda at $105 vs local dealer at $153. Its a left hand
thread and both ends of the "turnbuckle jam nuts" must be loosened to
remove the offending outboard end). Any way, there is still a "thud"
noise there only when the rr wheel goes over certain bumps. Bentley @
42.28 has a number of parts that could be the offender(s). I would like
to have the suspected part(s) in hand when the shock is removed for
inspection. Can anyone tell me what the likely problem is so I can have
Linda send the minimum parts likely to be needed?

RE:	Vacuum leak detection: No one has mentioned starting fluid. Pretty
explosive stuff for this purpose?

I found one leak at junction of the metal boost hose/intercooler
connection. It seems the intercooler had been replaced (deer in the
grill) and the installer failed to install the required "O" ring and the
two plastic fittings the hose clamp is meant to squeeze. The fittings
($4) are not available in the US, supposedly, and I have waited 3 weeks,
to date, to get them from Germany. If anyone has these fittings
available please let me know.
