Great unit, if anything happens to mine I'd get another
just like it in a heartbeat.

Not really.  They sell a remote display, so that the unit
itself doesn't make itself noticeable when mounted in
your windshield (i.e. the cop behind you doesn't see any
lights come on), but it's not a weatherproof unit, and
still needs to be mounted where it has unobstructed
front, back, and side "views".
