Plastic strip protection for headllight

Last week I read on the list about some plastic tape for headlights,  sand
blast protection, there was no source.
Does anybody knows where to get some of the stuff? 
I live in CA orange county and mail order is also OK.
I plan on putting two or three sets of driving lights and fog lights so I
need some protection from sand blasting.
If anybody is interested I also know how to wire the OEM fog light switch
(86 Qt.)
Also I know a place(local) that can wire an alternator for more amps
(convert a 90 amp to 110-120 amp) if anybody is interested let me know.
