Thw owner's manual that came with my 80q had a couple of pages in it on
when to lock the diffs. From memory, you should consider locking the
centre diff. when any of the following apply:
driving fast on bendy roads
car is fully loaded
towing a trailer
roads are slippery
You must (if you value the rubber on your tyres) unlock the diff.
before turning a corner.
The rear diff should only be locked when you are stuck in snow, muddy
field etc.
