It's a long time since I got up to any reasonable speed on the M1.  Those bits 
up near the Arctic Circle, perhaps.  Not near London - you're lucky to do 40.
 
The A14 is plagued by overtaking trucks.  I was doing 110 one day, and a police 
motorcyclist overtook me doing a _lot_ more.  Wherever he was going, it was 
_important_.
