I can believe that. I wonder if this variation in meaning is the cause of the
occasional variation in prices quoted for "Euro" lights. My headlight assembly
is a pretty large and complex piece of engineering - four adjusters, two
reflectors, etc.
The old Audi 80 unit had a pretty clean beam, though. I never thought them bad
when driving behind them.

We were doin' OK up until the Pilgrim Fathers left, then things started going
downhill. A bunch of Krauts turned up (they called themselves "Windsors", but
no one was fooled) and _that_ didn't help, either. Modern American is closer
than modern English to Shakespeare.
We walk on pavements, too. And knock people up in the mornings.
