i know the feeling.                                                             
this gives me something to do on boring drives - converting the instantaneous   
fuel consumption to mpg.                                                        
my rule of thumb is 15 l/100km is approx equal to 15 mpg.                       
i'm still not sure why my computer has the fuel consumption gauge rather        
than the boost gauge.                                                           
i was thinking of posting the text from the (german) owners manual in hopes     
of getting a translation for what the gauge (or measurement) is called.         
it looks like the typical german word/phrase (for example, display-of-rate-     
of-fuel-consumption)
