I researched these issues in December of 1995, I ended up purchasing a
V1. The latest BEL was also in the running, I bought the V1 becasue
the latest BEL was very new at that time, and I shy away from things
that are so new they may still have bugs.

There are two features that these units have that I find extremely
useful in practice:

	- their ability to detect radar from the front and the rear,
and hence to give you an indication as to where the signal is
	coming from.

	- their ability to count the number of signals being received,
so that you know how many threats are in the area.

I would not buy a unit that does not include these features.
