Rule #1:  The Boss is always right.

Rule #2:  In those cases when the Boss is wrong refer to Rule #1.

Folks,  

The time and effort that Dan donates to us as a freeby are invaluable, at
least, to me.  If we disagree with his rationally based decision, it is
still *his* decision to make (since he's the one supplying the service).  If
I were supplying the same free service I would also make decisions.  I might
not make decisions based upon the same rationale so, perhaps, my decisions
might not match those made by Dan but they'd be *my* decisions to make in
that circumstance.  

I believe that our UK friends are very welcome here and would encourage
everyone's full participation.  The international flavor of our virtual
community is a joy to me.  

Dan,

I am extremely glad to have this quattro list and very much appreciate the
continuing efforts you are making on our behalf.  I'm certain that others
also feel this way.

We may not always agree about everything but, I believe, we continue to
value this list and the enjoyment, information, and friendship it brings us.

Now, back to our regular programming...  :-)
