This is a resend ...

Fresh audi content first ... I am now esconced in a delightful little chevy
corsica (ugh) courtesy of my insurance company (Traveller's, yea!).  I want
my Audi back!  tomorrow the adjuster should come look at it (yeah right),
then I can *drain* the cylinders (sob!) and try to loosen things up with a
bucket o'mystery oil.  Methinks an engine swap is very near.... that will
let me put in a 4kq ex. man. and maybe rebuild the intake while there's
swinging room ... but I want it back now!  Don't drive underwater.

Well put.  It's not bandwidth, it is more like band length - but really what
it is is junk mail.  I can download my mail without watching and the on line
time is sort of free, but even deleting messages uses up part of my day. 
And I appreciate the list info way too much to delete things quickly.
 
But as he mentions in his other post, it is a social phenomenon.  We can't
just exchange data, since humans are social animals we are compelled to show
and share our personalities and personal lives.  Inevitably there will be
friction.  The financial side is an obvious source.  Why are the jackets
cheaper for UK club members?  Because they aren't Qlist jackets.  Every
other offer of something for sale I've seen here has been same price to
everyone or discounted to the entire list.  

deleting those posts was still no big deal.  But when the guy who maintains
this thing (Dan) spoke up, I *was* offended by the chapter and verse quoting
response.  But we all slip and hit "send" when we mean "delete" once in a
while, eh?  Might even happen with this aimless rant....
