Testing "repaired" seat heater...
After removing/exposing entire seat cushion, I found 2 burnt spots on the
foam. Althought the wires looked OK, I cut, stripped and soldered both
sections. I now get zero resistance on my ohmeter (previously no
reading-open). Before putting this whole mess back together, I'd like to test
it out, but I can't find any kind of weight sensor (seen them under rear
seat). Anyone know where this is?
There is a tiny metal thingie woven into the heater cable fabric, the size of
a watch battery. I can't expose it completely cause its covered in glue, but
3 of the 4 wires going to the heater cables lead into it. Is this some kind
of "presence sensor"?
