I removed the fuel pump from my 1990 200 Q today and found that not only
is it a different mount than my 88, but the pump I purchased was to long
51/2 verus 5 1/4 inches. I tried to reinstall the old pump and was unable
to get it to lock in place. The dealer told me they use a special tool to
install it. Does anyone have a method that they found works to reinstal.
And does anyone know the proper Bosch pump number for 200tq my local
parts store did not even show the part number of the one I took out.
Thanks in advance.
Bill
PS
Does anyone have a solution for broken rear licence plate mounts the
plastic has broken and I can not mount my plate
