My 91 200qw does 72mph @ 3000rpm in 5th.

Non-audi content: our Acura Legend does something like 2200rpm @ 65mph+
in 6th. Can you say quiet? On the other hand, 3500-4000rpm is extremely
raucous... After that it's still loud, but nicely so.
