Re: San Diego son with electrical problems



Have not found solution yet but want to thank everyone who took the time
to offer assistance of the subject. 

You know, that is really a nice thing, e.g., "Dad has son 2,500 miles
away with car trouble. Internet gang comes to cyber rescue."   Think
about it, where else can that happen? Cool!

So I faxed 8 responses to him and see what happens. I too told him to
check for "something still on". Told him old fashioned way (no amp
meter) is disconect positive terminal and touch the post with the now
removed hot wire: tiny spark radio/clock; bigger spark small light bulb
on etc.; bigger spark, uh oh...smell for smoke.

So thanks again, I'll report back.
