Audi / Mazda / BMW

Yeah, what Graydon, STEADIRIC, PDQSHIP et al sez:

Having driven everthing [except a Sport Q] talked about, just
gotta agree that it is apples and oranges to compare any audi you could
buy new in the US in the last decade to the RX7tt. Now, maybe it is just
me, but I found it to be one damned uncomfortable car, with a price to
match. But, it flies. M3 same deal. More comfort, but what a sweet
package. BTW, all the bragging done by Volve on the 850t? Well, just so
happened that I had a chance to drive the RX7tt on about 15 miles of hard
twisties w/ a friend driving his 850t hard. 2 miles in, couldn't even
see headlights. RX7tt is fast--and very tweekable.

I love Audi's, but.... What Audi needs? to do, IMHO, is send
over a "sport" type package in the A4tq. Horse it up a bit [min. 300hp],
beefy susp., cut some weight, etc. Then, *maybe* the German metal would
not be stomped off the line by the rustangs, talons, caddy's, lincolns, etc.
