Re: A4 vs RX-7TT

I sed:

>I am a clinical case of a Quattro addict and wouldn't want to be seen
>dead in a jap two door boy-racer....

To which Kent Rafferty replied:

>Let's see, so all "jap" cars are bad (is this rude or ignorant -- or
>both?), two doors are bad (does this include Turbo Quattro Coupes?), and why
>exactly is it a "boy racer" -- 'cause of its committment to performance?

Well, if you read my line attentively, you'll see that in no instance did I use
the word "bad". I'd like to answer the way Jesus answered to Pilat: "your words,
not mine...". No rudness was expressed or intended. As far as my ignorance goes...
well, I'd adress you to the past archives where you'll find some heavy duty
technical content, posted by truly yours in abundance.

Secondly, I indeed (SUBJECTIVELY!) don't like japanese cars, I indeed
(SUBJECTIVELY!) perceive sporty two-seaters as boy racers and I indeed
(SUBJECTIVELY!) don't like two door cars. YES, even *THE ICON* - a Turbo Quattro
Coupe. I do respect it a lot, but do not like it and never wanted to own. (two
layers of Nomex here). Same as with "The Beatles" - I admire and respect them, but
do not like them and do not collect. (one more layer of Nomex on).

I was not hanging labels or trying to criticize an admittedly good car. All I am
saying is that *I* (SUBJECTIVELY) "wouldn't want to be seen dead in a jap two door
boy-racer...."

I would like to be let to have a personal opinion, if you don't mind. Thank you.
