Wrecked '89 200 Quattro Turbo

Sadly my parents' '89 200 CS Quattro was broad sided last week, and the   
verdict came to me yesterday that it was totalled.  I don't know where   
the car is currently, but is it worth trying to grab parts for spares on   
my '87 200 CS Quattro.  And more to the point, would it be possible to   
transplant the interior from the '89 to the '87?  I like the seats and   
dash and stuff from that one.  Please respond ASAP if you have any ideas.

PS: The value the insurance paid to my parents was $12,000.00, with over
