re: Advice on K&N Filters

I would only get the K&N if you are already going to replace your air filter.
I would not go through the hassle of replacing it for "performance gains". I
did not notice much or any difference by going to the K&N. The exhaust and
timing are your first improvements. I really went to the K&N for its service
life. Its plenty safe for the engine.

     Hi Guys,
Just a quick note. How good are K&N filters, I mean what kind of
performance increase are we talking about? I don't race or anything
but would like to have some extra performance on my 4kcsq. Are they
     relatively safe for the engine?

     Thanks in advance
