Sorry it took me so long to reply but I'm only on the digest version of the
list and you hadn't sent it to me direct. Yep, you're right. These are
different engines. The Audi unit is the only one with 5 cylinders. There's
also a 90bhp version of the TDI here, but it's been supplemented by a
110bhp-version, which is as fast as the original Golf GTI Mk1! I know, I've
been passed by a few... these are seriously fast cars, not to mention
torque. No wonder they're so popular here! I'm seriously thinking of a TDI
as an alternative for my car, and I used to be a Diesel hater...
