in the context of automotive discussions, this is no more insulting than        
"euro", "brit", etc.                                                            
unfortunately in a world that has become obsessed with political correctness,   
we must now speak and write in a stultifying manner so as not to offend the     
most sensitive among us.                                                        
somehow it doesn't occur to most people that "bose sucks", "bmw bites" or       
"texans are mostly slope-headed tailgate thieves" may also sound insulting,     
but i digress.                                                                  
i also apologize if i called anyone "bob" who prefers "robert".  =8)
