Hi folks.
Can anyone give me an idea as to how one gets access to the bottom of the
driver's seat in an '89 100Q...I'm hoping it's not too hard an exercise,
though that's probably the case. There's probably not some magic pin that one
pulls and the entire works tilt back, huh.
I've found that there's an electrical wire that's shorting out down there (or
rather breaking loose) - when it does, none of the electrical switches (seat
adjustment) work - one just hears a clicking noise down below. I found the
cause by reaching under the seat and gently jiggling things 'till I heard a
snapping/crackling of electricity. Then the switches worked again. I'm sure
it's just an easy solder fix, but how to get at it???
Thanks for any help.
