Re: Amsoil Lubricants/Filtration
You might not like my answer much but have it anyway,
1. Somebody on the list said: "remove your paper element and drive around,
if you do not feel any improvement you are throwing away money on the KN
filter" follow this advice.
2. The performance of the current oils is very good (see recent consumer
report about oils), you do not need to use any special by-pass filters or
synthetic oil unless: A. you live in an extremely cold weather climate B.
you drive your Qt. where Boeing usually cruises (very cold up there!!!!),
use a good brand of oil (take your pick) change your oil regularly (depends
on your driving: city, highway or hard driving) and you will be all-right.
Save your money for parts, you will need them.
