Re: Euro lights -- a hidden bonus

Can you give me some more info? I have a rock-dmaaged Euro headlight
on my Coupe Quattro, and as far as I know, only way to repair is to replace
the whole headlight unit - several hundred $$$.

In a message dated 96-11-02 10:52:39 EST, you write:

When you take a stone on your US-spec lights you have to swing for a whole
new
$175 sealed beam assembly. When you take a stone on the euro-lights, you
replace a $35 piece of glass. You could stretch this to pitting after a
winter
in Colorado -- Lights, good as new, annually.
