S4 Tires anyone ???

Well based on the positive responses regarding the Pirelli 210/Ps (thanks to
those who responded BTW) I went and bought them (I got 6 (225/50/16) of them
for $300 - practically brand new - came off his second to last car - Nissan
300zxt) but thats not all - the guy I bought them from also had 4 Michelin
XGT Z's in size 245/45/17 that have at least one summer left on them and he
practically gave them to me for $80 for the set.  He just wanted to get rid
of all his extra tires since he didn't have the space and now has a Jeep
Wrangler (poor sole!). The XGT Z's apparently came of his last car - a 3000GT
VR4.   So, I took the chance that these tires will work on my 17 x 8 Borbet
Type C's and fit inside the fender wells on my S4.  I am pretty sure they
will fit, although a little bigger diameter than stock,  but I wanted to find
out if anyone has tried this tire size on an S4 and whether:- a) they stick
out too from the sides of the car; b) whether they will rub inside the wheel
wells when I hit bumps?; and  c) how much will this slightly larger diameter
effect rpms and the speedometer.    BTW, the sticker inside my gas filler cap
door lists 245/40/17as a tire size option.  Additional note:My car is lowered
about 3/4 -  7/8 inch with stiffer Eibach springs and bilstein struts. 
ALSO - now I have two extra sets of tires for sale - let me know if your
interested - they are as follows:  4 Riken studded snows - size 225/50/16
(have 1-2 seasons left on them)  - offers over $140 will be seriously
considered.  Also, I have 4 Goodyear Eagle GS-C's size 225/50ZR16 - (they are
in very good shape have 1-2 summers of street wear left in them - only used
for about 6 months /7,000 miles) -  offers over $200/set seriously considered
(they list at the Tire Rack for about $680/set).  I live in Denver, CO in
case you need them shipped - -  I'll be happy to ship them anyway you desire
as long as you pay the cost.
