Part throttle hesitation/plug wires

On my '92 100s/V-6 (with 93k miles), I just noticed a slight part throttle
hesitation/miss/bucking that sometimes comes on at higher rpms (over 3k
rpm), and was more noticeable while the auto-tranny was in the "D" mode
(i.e. final gear... overdrive) on the highway. If I kick it down into
passing gear, it is ok (I think....I'll have to do some more road testing to
be sure).

I also noticed it when I kept it in "3" instead of "D", at over 4k rpm.

All else is fine, if I don't "push it", and if I don't go "looking" for it
(i.e. don't go chasing down an RX-7TT... sorry, I couldn't resist!!). I get
26 mpg, and the car has recently been given the "once over" before I moved
down here to MD. I have done/had done: spark plugs, fuel filter, coolant
flush, tranny service (fluid/filter), K&N cleaning/re-oil, oil change and
filter. The problem is not yet considered extreme or a nuisance, but I don't
want problems down the road, and as well, if there is something that ails my
car, I like to have it done ASAP... that's just the way I am (i.e. Aquarians
are perfectionists...so they say).

During the summer (and here's the part about spark plug wires), I
experienced this same thing, but it was much more noticeable, at almost all
rpms, either pulling away from a stop, or on the highway. It was diagnosed
(correctly) as a bad spark plug wire that had too much resistance. It was
replaced (at $40.00 for one wire!! Yikes!! No wonder they are not replaced
in sets!!), and the problem was solved (or so it seemed?)

Could this still be the problem? Should I replace the remaining plug wires?
When should OEM plug wires be changed, as part of routine maintenance? How
long do the OEM plug wires last? If I should replace them, anybody have any
recommendations at to what brand, and where to get them at the best price?

Besides plug wires, anything else that I should consider that may be causing
the problem?

Before I bring it in to a dealer/mechanic, I figured that this esteemed
group would have an opinion. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

BTW, any other V-6 owners ever experience this? Maybe it is common to the V-6?
