Air-Conditioning

No reason why not.  Quite a few of the UK RHDs (perhaps 1/3rd?) have air
conditioning.  All of the parts are listed on the UK microfiche and seem to 
be engine-independent.  The only significant change between 1980 and 1989 
seems to have been a new style of "safety plug" fitted to one of the 
reservoirs.

Legend has it that there were _two_ RHD air-conditioning systems - one was 
factory-fitted, and one was dealer-fitted.  There only seems to be one style 
actually in the cars (and on the fiche) though.

Bollocks.  Find a new dealer.  Or ask him to look in section 26 of his parts 
fiche - ask him what part # 035 260 803C is supposed to do for a living.
