Air-Conditioning

No reason why not. Quite a few of the UK RHDs (perhaps 1/3rd?) have air
conditioning. All of the parts are listed on the UK microfiche and seem to
be engine-independent. The only significant change between 1980 and 1989
seems to have been a new style of "safety plug" fitted to one of the
reservoirs.

Legend has it that there were _two_ RHD air-conditioning systems - one was
factory-fitted, and one was dealer-fitted. There only seems to be one style
actually in the cars (and on the fiche) though.

Bollocks. Find a new dealer. Or ask him to look in section 26 of his parts
fiche - ask him what part # 035 260 803C is supposed to do for a living.
