Different wheel bolts for snows/steel rims?

I'm heading to the fatherland for three weeks of work....

When I get back, I'll probably want to take off the summer tires
on the alloy rims, and put on the snows with steel rims.

I remember reading somewhere that the bottom of the bolt head for
a alloy rim is rounded, and bolts for steel rims are tapered...

Should I buy new 17mm wheel bolts for the steel rims?  Will
17mm bolts for VW steel rims fit my Coupe Q?
