turbo care
Hi all,
I saw an interview with a representative of Garrett Industries on TV
yesterday. The guy said that today's turbos don't need to be run at idle
speeds to cool down. It appears that the advances in design allow it to be
switched straight off.
Of course, he would say that. Garrett probably earns a nice amount from
replacement turbos... If *I* had a turbo engine, I'd still let it idle
before switching off.
