Re: Mobil 1, Synthetics

I am only been living in CA for two years, can your winters in New England
compete with WI and MN? How about running a Diesel in the winter in WI and
MN? one of my (many Diesels) was a Jetta with 360,000 miles on it (5 engine
rebuilds running Delvac 1, Mobil). I think I can safely say that I have
enough experience in the subject+ some R&D testing of synthetic oil working
for an OEM engine manufacture.
Use what you feel is right for you, I will never argue with you about it
(no more than I argue with some religious types that knock on my door every
so often).
My suggestion (it is only a suggestion) is to use std. petroleum oils (none
engineered base) since their performance level is very good, almost as good
as synthetic!
Does Audi recommend using synthetics for engine oils?

Love that pure petroleum oil "none processed, natural, just the way mother
nature made it"
