'Carbon' Brake pads

Since the front pads have just worn out on my 1990 Corrado G60 I would like to 
replace them with Performance friction, Pagid or Cool Carbons.  The 
application is for mostly street use plus Autocross. (no track time planned if 
this makes a difference).  Hopng for increased braking friction without too 
much noise/dust etc. Are Pagid Yellow?? still the hot deal for autocross?
Just the front are worn out, rears have fairly new metalmasters (from RMR).
Do I need to replace rotors before going to carbon?

Please let me know sources and prices as you know them.  Canada or USA.
I will also replace my 5000 CD Quattro pads with carbon the next time they 
wear out. So please advise on source/ recommended model and price here also.
