Snow tires for the quattro??

Can't remember if I've asked this before, but the time
to decide is drawing near.  Winter approaches, and I can't
wait to see how the new A4Q performs!  But I'm wondering
if I should bet considering snow tires.  I'm remembering
last winter, trying to creep down the long, steep, snow-covered
driveway, and ending up stuck sideways because the car didn't
want to stay straight.  This year, with quattro, I'll at least
be able to get out of that situation, but it might be nice
to avoid it completely.

So.  Anyone have opinions on the relative merits of snow
tires on a quattro?  (I'm in northern NJ, and am considering
something like Blizzaks or Guardex).
