Phil is correct if it is not a sealed battery.  I have found vented batteries
to fit under the seat of Audis in the past, so you don't need to get it at 
the dealer.  Make sure that you check Audi though, because IME the dealers 
have had better prices on OEM batteries than aftermarket houses on occasion.
Another option is the sealed Optima battery, which is what I am now using 
in the urQ.

If you find that your replacement battery does not have the shield for the 
(+) terminal take the one off the battery you pull out and use it on the new 
battery.
