Michael,
I've given up on East Hollis St. Shell. I know I was the one
who originaly touted them on the list, but since Neil left, I don't think
they can fix Audis unless it's a tuneup and an oil change.
I spent $550 getting my parking brake "fixed", including an
extensive road test and complete system inspection, only to have it fail
and cause an accident 4 weeks later. Turns out the other rear caliper
was completely frozen. How did their inspection fail to notice that.
Now, I go to Eurosport Motorcars in Merrimack. Several listers
go there, too. Tim is a miracle worker at Audis, they have extensive
parts, know about lots of aftermarket stuff, and all the little tricks.
They may be a little pricey, but there is never any question of getting
it fixed right.
