Arlan,

For my own curiosity if I could, which local Pittsburgh dealer gave you the
best
price? I have been partial to Sewickley myself, but have never bought a car
from them. Purchased my Coupe used from Three Rivers Audi in '91 for what I
felt was a good price; talked to Imports by Day about a pre-owned 993 and
they
quoted a price $10,000 over anything in "Autoweek" and refused to budge.

By the way, if you are willing to travel, might suggest trying Stoddard's in
Cleveland; dealer is gigantic, and I bought my used 993 from them for a
reasonable price; salesman actually drove down to Pittsburgh to pick me
up when I bought the car. Might suggest calling Peter Melnyk
(216/951-1040).

Ok, I'm a new subscriber and have a couple of questions, so bear with
me if these have been asked many times before I was a "member":

Currently a '95 Saab Turbo owner who's ready to get back into a Quattro
after having owned an '84 4000Q many years ago, I have been both
pricing and getting serious about an A4Q (okay, I also am a sucker for
brilliant yellow!) and have gotten a price of $27,200 for a car that
stickers
at $29,100....which seems about as good as I can find here in Pittsburgh,
checking a couple of dealers....any feedback???

I look forward to replies, and hope to again become an active Quattro
owner. Saab's aren't bad, as long as they're turbos, just a lot different!

 Regards,
