Been there, done that, 85 mph, without cruise control....not that hard.

I agree with the previous post (snipped out) about two hands on the wheel
and not driving with open liquids in the car. The closest I come is a
Gatorade bottle with a cap (that I have to unscrew with both hands while
steering with my knee.) It infuriates me when one of my beloved passengers
spills something in my car when I take a hard left.

I do hope this is well presented sarcasm without a following marker and not
something in which you have even a seed of belief. If some idiot chooses to
drink in the car, spills hot java in his lap, burns his family jewels and
wrecks his A4, he deserves it for his own stupidity and unsafe operation of
a motor vehicle. Do we actually need to be told not to do these things, and
should manufacturers be *required*, under penalty of law, to cator to our
every whim? Well, then, I'm more relaxed with some music of my liking so I
think every car should be required to come standard with a 200-watt Alpine
CD changer system and a 20 free discs of my choice! Also, if I choose to
listen to the radio and wreck because of some Byran Adams caterwalling on
the radio, I think I should be able to sue not only the radio station, but
the recording label as well for allowing that tripe to be recorded. Where's
my lawyer!!!

In all honesty, I agree with the original philosophy that the cup holders
should have been forgotten altogether--they are a waste. I don't think I'll
ever use them. That's what passengers are for.
